Seal day
"Defy ephemerality. Wander not always ahead of yourself in thought, but neither dawdle in the past.
It is the art of arrival.
Of being in one, only one place at one time. Of absorbing it with all of your senses.
It's beauty, it's ugliness, its singularity. Of allowing oneself to be overwhelmed, fearlessly.
The art of being where you are."
I love words...and thought I'd share this paragraph from a book I'm reading by Jan-Phillip Sendker. The book is called ' A Well-tempered heart.'
The water felt a bit cold this morning, but it was 14.2 and it was a tad windy - we actually had a debate about when the wind is a bergwind :-) so many opinions. The water was clear and there was a seal playing close by with another one joining them as we were getting out.
