Choppy seas are back
I suppose full moon would result in a change in the waters... today the sea was choppy and it was windy, but pleasant. Feels like a bit of an oxymoron - windy but pleasant. The water felt great and for the first time Tria and Camilla's thermometers synched and gave the same temp. Just don't ask me what it was :-).
It is becoming darker in the morning, sunrise was estimated for 7h18.

Pic 1 taken at 6h30. You can see the moon hiding behind the one cloud.
Pic 2 taken just after 7h20, and check the moon!
I was checking what the full moon is called, and most of the sources said it's the Pink full moon, and then I found this very cool site that I thought I'd share. It is a site dedicated to protecting the South African astronomical heritage, and for every full moon they celebrate something South African. I love this...and in future will be referring to this site! A Diamond Moon in the South African skies sounds extraordinary :-)
