Cheat day...with a non-pic :-)

I missed most swims this week, and I was excited to swim today! This is really just such an amazing way to start the day, and I could feel that I need my fix :-). It felt a bit cold, and measured about 13.2 degrees Celsius - which is actually not too cold!

I did not take a pic, so I'm being sneaky and sharing other stuff! Firstly a podcast, Prof Mike Tipton, the interviewee is a world renowned expert in extreme environmental physiology, including drowning or survival in the sea. The interview was really interesting as it contradicts some other people I follow - such as Andrew Huberman and Susanna Soeberg on the topic of cold water immersion. It is an hour, but I highly recommend taking a listen, especially some the risks.... it is really interesting. Here is the link.

It is good to consider risks and benefits. Being an academic I like knowing the opposing views and findings in science.
