Champagne in the rain and the inaugural birthday skinny ocean swim

After a week or two of stunning weather, we have some rain again this morning and it made for a moody backdrop...

The water felt cold, but measured 12 degrees C. And seeing that it is my birthday, we did a little skinny..it is fairly interesting to take of your cozzie and try put it back on in the water whilst feeling cold with numb finger tips...but I managed, which means I can manage anything today!!

We also had some bubbles, cupcakes, Hertzoggies, date fingers etc etc. We need more moments like this after our swims.

As my friend Salome likes to tell me... Pause and Celebrate...
