After 3 or 4 days of wind and big waves, today the sea was calm...but cold. The water temp was 11.6, it took a bit of time to 'feel our bliss'.

The two pics were taken about 30 minutes apart - one just before 7 and the other at about 7:30.

I wish I could do a time series of pics whilst we are in the water, with the sun coming up and the display of colours ranging from pink and orange to different shades of blue.

It is impossible to have a Blue Monday when one's day starts this way.

We are so incredibly blessed to call Hout Bay home...
